“Multiplayer will be evolving with what we learned from Original Sin 2,” said Vincke. Speaking in an interview with Wccftech, Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke said that multiplayer in the Original Sin games wasn’t implemented as well as they’d like, and that they’d be evolving the lessons learned there to deliver a better multiplayer experience in Baldur’s Gate 3. And one of the ways they’ll be introducing said improvements is in the game’s multiplayer aspect.
Larian Studios have made it clear that they’ll be improving upon what they did with Original Sin 2 even further with Baldur’s Gate 3, calling it the biggest RPG they’ve ever worked on. Many have called Divinity: Original Sin 2 RPG perfection- so naturally, with the developers now turning to make Baldur’s Gate 3, the sequel to what is also considered one of the greatest games of the cRPG genre, people are quite excited about how it will turn out (to put it mildly). In 2017, with Divinity: Original Sin 2, Larian Studios delivered what is without a doubt one of the greatest games of the cRPG genre.
